The American Psychology Association (APA) has estimated that perhaps 90% of all trips to the doctor are due to stress-related complaints. That’s easy to believe – and understand – when you consider some of the potentially harmful methods people use to cope with, or distract themselves from, the stress in their lives. Many of the more common methods people use to handle stress actually create problems of their own.
