@arminiusstirbtnie Sorry I missed this comment till now.

Anger is always a waste of effort. It get’s in the way of effective action. Any action you can take in anger could easily be more effectively enacted without anger.

The opposite of dumb/self occupied/ lazy is not anger. It’s intelligent, insightful/aware and motivated. Among other things.

In fact anger is dumb. Anger is self occupation. Anger is an act of laziness as well as fear. Anger inhibits clear rational thought.

But hey, keep on rockin in the free world.

      Just don’t blink.

I give it ten more years.

    5. arminiusstirbtnie says:

Baloney. You speak of only one kind of anger.

In another context, anger is nature’s way of telling you that something is wrong, you should take action and make change. It’s a preventative and protective impulse.

In a silly fun world ruined by “meanies at work” and “bullies who bully to feel better about themselves” you hit it. But there is more than that going on…the silly fun ship is SINKING and most are too dumb/selfoccupied/lazy to act. That infuriates me. How does that fit ur example?

      Very cool song. 5/5

@Sombrek That pretty much covers it. Just remember none of us are perfect. We all have days where we forget this and let contagious anger get to us. Failure is a great way to learn how to see problems coming and avoid them in the future.

When you see people hateful or judgemental behaviour for what it is, it’s fairly easy to remember it’s about them an not you.

    8. Sombrek says:

After hearing this video, i never am angry anymore. Sure I get pissed, but I know not to throw myself into a fit of rage, ever. In fact I know how to easily let things go, and I no longer hate anyone. No matter whether they yell “Get your hair cut!” at me, or something stupid like that. I know that they are idiots, and really they’re hurting theirselves in the long run with an attitude like that. :3

    9. TheReasonWhyGuy says:

God… I’m addicted to this… maybe it’s the contrast of a biker looking guy, singing about anger being a weakness

IlIIllIllIllIIllIIll: Thank you for the kind words and I am very glad to know that any words of mine may have lessened any amount of your own personal suffering.

It’s good to hear you have found something which helps you calm you mind and find a path which allows you to retain your peace in stressful situations.

      Be good to yourself.

    19. IlIIllIllIllIIllIIll says:

DAVE — I found your videos about a year ago, I am really glad I did, you helped me learn how to deal with and get past a lot of haters, and I understand now why they hate, and by simply saying the HOLY PRAYER and then continue with my life, I have found much for peace and contentment! Thanks for helping at least one soul not follow that blind path of hate and ignorance! And keep up the good songs for us to rip and play around the camp fire :-)

      Peace & Respect

      This is very good stuff.
You’ve obviously thought about these things. And I’m guessing you have some personal experience too.

I’ll post my 10c worth take on the issue as a video response. II’d appreciate it if you could leave a comment on that.

Cheers. Nice work. I suppose I’ve just convinced myself to subscribe.

      anger is a weakness

    23. fronthandspring101 says:

resentment is definitely a whore though :D

    24. fronthandspring101 says:

the only thing I would (at least, technically) disagree with is the premise that ‘anger’ is a weakness. It definitely CAN be, but hated is the real weakness.

anger can be a pretty constructive emotion

Maynard (of Tool) elaborated a little more on this, i do believe

      still, great song!!

    25. fronthandspring101 says:

      Very uplifting. Also truthful.

They should play this at schools in lieu of the National anthem.

Seriously, lots of people can benefit from the message in this song!

Scary Dave gets his flow on a bit too, sings and raps!
